Being a kid can be rough. People are always telling you
what to do. Grown-ups don’t always listen to what you
have to say. Worst of all, everything is super-sized.
Everything, that is, except for two miniature horses.
In the book Itty & Bitty, Two Miniature Horses by Nancy
Carpenter Czerw, illustrated by Dana Bauer, your horse-
loving child will read about a duo of delightful equines
and the fun they have when they’re allowed to go places.
When big horses peer over the stall where Itty and Bitty live, they can hardly believe what
they see: two teensy horses, living two to a stall, dancing a jig and running around
barefoot.
Bitty is sort of a raggedy little guy who doesn’t give a care about grooming. His mane and
tail are ratty, but it’s okay with him as long as he has someone with whom he can watch
TV. Itty likes his mane and tail to be just so, with no hair out of place. Baths are wonderful
things to Itty, and he has a preference for bow-ties.
To Itty and Bitty, the best thing of all is going for a ride… but beware! Before you can even
get the rig hooked up, they’ll be sitting in your car and ready to go.
Got a horse loving kid in your life? You won’t go wrong with this cute little book. Author
Nancy Carpenter Czerw has written rhymes that tiny tots will love, and the pictures by
illustrator Dana Bauer will keep them paging through this book again and again. Pick up
a copy of this book for your little buckaroo.
Itty & Bitty: Two Miniature Horses is a little bitty book packed with lots of big fun.
